We didn't stay for the full amount of time on our timed admission tickets. The ice was bumpy, but then after about half an hour they relaid the ice with the Zamboni machine. It was a bit chaotic getting onto the ice itself, because of the crowds. There was a place to check your shoes while you skated. The skates were well-used rental skates but then that is to be expected. The dressing room was crowded but we witnessed no bad behavior, and there was no line for the bathroom. The line only took about half an hour before we bought tickets ($21) and rented skates (an additional $10). Then we realized most of the people were simply watching, not waiting in line.
We came back the next day around 10:30 and were initially dismayed by the crowd. First we tried at night, but the wait was over two hours.
My teenaged daughter and her friend wanted to go ice skating here, so we did.
